Saint John Catholic School Offers a Combination of Options for
3- and 4 Year-Old Pre-Kindergarten
The Pre-K Program at Saint John Catholic School provides a means whereby parents can have their children educated in a Catholic and Christian atmosphere. The spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical and social growth of the young child is addressed in a developmentally appropriate setting. Lessons are planned using Pennsylvania Pre-K standards. A combined class increases student opportunity for socialization and leadership, as well as enrichment or remediation. There are times the two classes meet together, and times they meet separately. Our large classrooms allow ample space for movement and a variety of activities and lessons happening concurrently. Our 4-year-olds have the increased opportunities of weekly Art and Music classes, and also attend Mass monthly with the elementary aged students.

ENROLLMENT
Enrollment is rolling and continues until spaces are filled. Priority is given to students who have siblings enrolled at Saint John Catholic School (Kindergarten through 5th Grade).
TUITION
Tuition and registration fees vary each school year. Please contact the Pre-K Program Director for fees.
CLASSES
Each class has a certified teacher and a classroom aide. Class size is limited to 16 students. Students will be placed on a waiting list when classes are filled.
CLASS SCHEDULE
Children must turn the respective age by September 1st of the school year that they will be attending.
Daily 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. September through May
3-Year-Old: Tuesday and Thursday, with the option to attend a third day on Wednesday
4-Year-Old: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the option to attend five days.
Children may be dropped off as early as 8:00 a.m. for no additional fee.
