Pre-K Enrollment
Saint John Catholic School Council has established that the Pre-K Classes will be as follows:
3-Year-Old Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
4-Year-Old Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., with the option to attend five days a week
Students in either class will be able to be dropped off as early as 8:00 a.m.
The class size at Saint John Pre-K is limited. In the likelihood that more than the allotted numbers of registrations are received for Pre-K for a given year, the following criteria will be used to establish the class list:
Student currently enrolled in Saint John Pre-K or is a sibling of a Saint John student or graduate;
Saint John Parish member;
Member of another Catholic parish;
Other.
If there are more registrants than space available in any of the categories above, date of submission of the enrollment form will take priority to determine who is accepted into the class and the order on the waiting list.
Families will be notified on or before February 14 to inform them of their status in the 2025-2026 Saint John Pre-K class.
A completed Pre-K enrollment consists of the following:
Completed Enrollment Form
Non-refundable Registration Fee of $100 before August 1, 2025, or $150 on or after August 1, 2025

Kindergarten - 5th Grade Enrollment
KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT
Our Kindergarten is a full-day program. All children enrolling for Kindergarten must be five years old before September 1, 2025.
FIRST THROUGH FIFTH GRADE ENROLLMENT
Enrollment for transfer students into first through fifth grades is considered based on available openings in the requested grade. The administrator reserves the right to request release of any and all information from the previous school for any student transferring to Saint John Catholic School. This information includes, but is not limited to, academic and behavioral records, standardized test scores, and psychological test results. Saint John Catholic School policy states that all newly enrolled students are subject to a six-week probation period. The policy also states that re-enrollment is not guaranteed. Along with the above information, reason for previous withdrawal will be taken into consideration with the administrator and Pastor making the final determination as to whether appropriate circumstances for re-enrollment exist.
SCHOOL IMMUNIZATIONS: In order to enter school for the first time, at the Kindergarten or First Grade level, in any public, private or parochial school, your child must have the following immunizations:
4 doses of tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis (1 dose on or after the 4th birthday) (Usually given as DTP or DTaP, or if medically advisable, DT or Td)
4 doses of polio (4th dose not necessary if the 3rd dose administered at age 4 years or older and at least 6 months after the previous dose)
2 doses of measles, mumps, and rubella (Usually given as MMR)
3 doses of hepatitis B
2 doses of varicella (chickenpox) or evidence of immunity
These requirements allow for medical and religious/philosophical exemptions. If your child is exempt from immunizations, s/he may be removed from school during an outbreak.
To insure a quality education for each student, Saint John School Council policy limits each class size to 24 students. Enrollments are accepted in the following priority order:
Siblings of students enrolled in Saint John School or siblings of graduates;
Current Saint John Pre-K students who are Saint John, Saint Kateri, or Queen of Archangels parish members;
Saint John, Saint Kateri, or Queen of Archangel parish members;
Saint John Pre-K students who are not parish members;
Others on the “waiting list”, as space permits.
If there are more registrants than space available in any of the categories above, date of submission of the registration form will take priority to determine who is accepted into the class and the order on the waiting list.
After February 14th, any remaining openings are filled in the order in which completed enrollments were received.
